Starting the camp in Bournemouth

Surely everyone was full of excitement today — because on June 29, the language camps in England and Germany officially began!

The English group arrived around 5:00 p.m. in one of the most beautiful seaside towns in the United Kingdom, Bournemouth, together with the Foundation’s sponsored students, our accompanying mentors, and preparatory teachers.

Even the journey itself was filled with anticipation — and no wonder, as England is stunning, and Bournemouth’s atmosphere, the scent of the sea, and the sight of the coast immediately captivated us.

After arriving, everyone met their host families and had the chance to take a short tour of the town. The families, just like the language school staff, were extremely friendly and welcoming — we’re sure an enjoyable and memorable week lies ahead.

The programs already seem promising: participants are divided into two groups by age — under 16 and over 16 — ensuring personalized language classes and excursions. Once again, the Foundation has put together a diverse and experience-rich week for us.

The planned activities include:

  • the popular “Beach Olympics” games on the seashore;

  • a trip to the town of Ringwood;

  • a visit to Avon Valley Country Park;

  • and countless evening programs, such as a campfire and S’mores on the beach;

  • a karaoke night;

  • and a lively Under 18s Disco.

And what better way to end the week than with an unforgettable sightseeing tour in London, which everyone is already looking forward to with great enthusiasm.

This camp offers not only fun and adventure but also a unique opportunity to practice our English in real-life situations, apply what we’ve learned so far, and perhaps even form new friendships.

We are sincerely grateful to the Foundation for this extraordinary opportunity — truly unforgettable experiences await us this week in Bournemouth.
