Board of directors

The board of directors is the main decision-making body of the foundation, and manages the fund’s assets. Its members have been selected by the founder. The chairperson of the board and its members are senior officers of the foundation, as a public benefit organization.

The supervisory body is composed of three members, nominated by the founder: Dr. Ádámosi György, Dr. Szűcs Ernő Péter, and István Garancsi

Coworkers

The Foundation’s administrative, financial and organizational tasks, as well as management of the talent-management program, are carried out by the foundation office under the direction of the chairperson of the board of directors.

The tasks of the office include: organizing the order of the foundation and the board of directors; organizing their work; preparing decisions, maintaining the content of the website; and coordinating external relations. In co-operation with the central office, we have 22 full-time mentors and a variable number of developers in the seven rural community houses (Jászberény, Szeged, Pécs, Mohács, Kaposvár, Nagybajom and Szentes)

Mentors

A mentor a kedvet, és a kompetenciát alakítja ki a tananyag elsajátításához. Képes arra, hogy a problémákat újszerű szempontokból vizsgálja meg, eredeti megoldásokat javasoljon, kritikus helyzetekben bátorítást adva dönteni tudjon, és életével példát mutasson.

Kik ők?

Az alapítványi program megvalósítására az Alapítvány elkötelezett és szakmailag felkészült pedagógusok, szociális munkások, gyermekvédelmi szakemberek közül választja ki a mentorokat. A mentorok az Alapítvány főállású munkavállalói.

Mit csinálnak?

A mentor feladata, a csoportjába tartozó gyerekek fejlesztése, a fejlesztő tevékenység megszervezése. A mentor az Alapítványnál dolgozó szakemberek segítségével állítja össze a csoportjába tartozó gyermekek fejlesztési terveit, megszervezi az egyéni vagy csoportos fejlesztő foglalkozásokat, kulturális és sportprogramokat, kirándulásokat, tematikus szaktáborokat. Rendszeres kapcsolatot tart a szülőkkel és az iskolával. Nyomon követi a rábízott gyermekek szociális helyzetének alakulását, részt vesz az egyedi szociális támogatások elbírálásában, lebonyolításában. A mentori munka hosszútávra tervezett feladatvállalás. A mentor szinte észrevétlenül családtaggá válik, aki a mindennapok örömét és nehézségeit is átéli a családtagokkal.

Hol vannak jelen?

Az Alapítvány tevékenysége a különböző régiókban a Közösségi Házak (tehetségpontok) köré szerveződik, ahol adott a lehetőség a fejlesztő foglalkozások, szülői értekezletek, Családi és Nyílt Napok, Szülők Akadémiája programsorozatok megtartására, valamint az aktív közösségi életre. A Közösségi Házak és a mentorok a programon belül egymást is segítő hálózatot alkotnak.

Students’ Parliament

The Students’ Parliament is the child-led organisation of the Csányi Foundation, which was established in 2011. Children from each Community Centre and group elect a representative by mutual agreement to represent their group at the annual meetings. Their work is coordinated and assisted by a mentor: from the beginning until 2018, Angéla Vancsuráné Sárközi from Kaposvár, then from 2018 to 2024, it was Annamária Éles from Mohács, and currently, it is András Gál, the mentor of Pécs 2 group.

Every year, a creative competition (Colour your world competition, I am who I am creative competition) is organised on a specific theme, where each child can find the way of self-expression that is closest to them, whether in poetry, essay, graphics, painting or other self-expressive fields. They are also responsible for promoting, organising and running the Foundation’s football, chess, foosball and e-sports tournaments. They also have the right to give opinions and suggestions in the development of the Foundation’s Code of Conduct and House Policy. They have initiated the tradition of an all-arts camp and a sports camp.

In 2022, on the initiative of the Students’ Parliament, the title of Ambassador of the Csányi Foundation was also established. This is a way to recognise those among us who have contributed to the recognition and recognition of the Csányi Foundation’s activities.
