This morning marked the start of this year’s swimming camp, where the children enthusiastically jumped into their first swimming session. It was clear from early on that many of them were already quite confident in the water, but even those who are just now beginning to learn the basics of swimming made great progress.
In the afternoon, the children continued working on the “Mohács 500” project, which is being created to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Battle of Mohács. Today’s theme was designing the weapons and clothing of the era, and the children approached the task with great creativity and interest. Drawings, models, and clever ideas were produced, and during the session they also learned many fascinating facts about the historical period.
