Talent Selection Process in Nagybajom

Our foundation announced a call for applications for fourth-grade students from elementary schools in the Nagybajom Community Center region and surrounding settlements during this academic year. The mentor colleagues began personal outreach to school principals, deputy principals, fourth-grade teachers, and the leaders of Family and Child Welfare Services in the affected institutions.

During these personal discussions, they informed the stakeholders about the foundation’s Guidance Program, particularly the details of the application and the selection process. They also distributed the necessary documents for the application, which are also available on the foundation’s website.

Experience shows that institutions are familiar with our Guidance Program, as several schools already have upper elementary students who are supported by the foundation and are happy to share their experiences about their involvement with the foundation.

The mentors announced an Open Day, scheduled for February 1, 2025, at the Nagybajom Community Center. This event warmly welcomes interested students and parents involved in the application process. They also emphasized the deadline for submitting applications—February 15, 2025. After the deadline, home visits will begin, and the nominations will be evaluated. This process gives students the opportunity to take the entrance examination and, upon successful admission, to become part of the “Csányi” community.
