Wicked

A Magical Afternoon with Jászság Group 1

On Thursday afternoon, we began with some baking at the Community House, then walked over to the cinema to watch the musical fantasy film Wicked together.

The 160-minute story takes place in the enchanted world of Oz, where the characters meet as university students. Our protagonists are Elphaba, who struggles to fit in and thrive in the world with her unique green skin and extraordinary abilities, and Glinda, a privileged, energetic young woman full of plans, who is continuously discovering her own talents.

We witnessed deep friendships, quarrels, and thrilling adventures. By the end of the film, the Good Witch of the North and the Wicked Witch of the West were born. The film left us with an important message: Don’t judge a book by its cover until you’ve truly gotten to know the person!
