Did We Manage to Escape?

After the semester closing, we felt that we needed a little relaxation, so we visited Paracity in Kaposvár as part of a community program. We eagerly awaited to find out which escape room we would play in and solve challenges. We were already familiar with the place and knew that we could only reach the final goal of each themed room by successfully solving logical puzzles.

One half of our group faced the challenges of the room called “Cold War,” while the other half tackled “The Great Escape.” We had 60 minutes to get out of both rooms.

“We were faced with the most difficult room currently available. Our task was to prevent the launch of nuclear warheads secretly placed in Hungary by Soviet troops. We had 60 minutes to stop the missile launch and prevent the outbreak of World War III. By solving exciting and complex logical puzzles, we managed to avert the disaster in just under 50 minutes, saving the world in the process. Thank you for the experience!”
– Eszter Pálfi, Nagybajom 2

“We found ourselves in the country’s most secure prison, from which almost no one had ever escaped. However, one prisoner had mysteriously disappeared during the night. Our task was to solve this mystery and reach the solution through logical challenges. I can confidently say that we successfully escaped. Teamwork was essential to solving the mystery. Each of us contributed by figuring out different puzzles, allowing us to progress further. Thank you for the fun experience; we had a great time!”
