We gathered at the Tiszai beach in Szentes this Saturday, delighted by the truly summery weather. This time we held the family day of the first group here, as we were invited to a Family Sports Day. The venue itself is quite spacious, so we had plenty of room to move around, although the young people were the ones who were most active in the outdoor games. We parents were happy to be together again: not everyone managed to get home from the parents’ meeting on time, so we have so much to discuss when we meet. The boys took over the football field in the morning, immediately after arriving, some played volleyball and some tested their skills in ping pong. When we saw that the time had come, we started preparing for lunch. The boys lit a fire, and then everyone skewered the grilled sausages and bacon. We ate vegetables as we liked, and sipped cold soft drinks near the fire, which felt even warmer on a hot day. The group had a great time. We laughed a lot, talked, and were happy to relax a bit. After lunch, the younger ones went back to play sports, but there were also those who refreshed themselves in the warm water of the river. We are sorry that not everyone could come, but we hope that this occasion will continue.
