Innovations in Football project

As part of our “Innovations in Football” sub-project, after experimenting with field surfaces and getting to know tracking systems, our next stop was watching a professional match. We had the opportunity to observe the application of these innovations during the KTE vs. Puskás Academy game.

From a sports-technical perspective, it was very interesting and full of excitement. We saw plenty of action, including three goals and five yellow cards. We also learned a lot from the referee’s perspective, which our fellow student Ádám Papdi from Group Szeged Group 2 can certainly benefit from in the future.

It was our first time attending a top-tier football match. In future sessions, we will focus on IT innovations and analyze the experiences we’ve gathered so far.

We are very grateful to the Csányi Foundation for this opportunity!
