“With my second degree in hand: another milestone on the road to progress”

4th July – A date that will go down in the history of my life. On this day, I received my second diploma, now as a graduate of the Bachelor of Business and Management at the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences. A process has come to an end, but in fact a new dimension has opened up for me: a future where knowledge, commitment and human relations are all of value.

The road to the degree, like any real development story, was not smooth. During my university years, I not only learned economic models, management theories and financial strategies, I also learned how to make decisions, take responsibility and, perhaps most importantly, learn about myself. The knowledge I gained at university was combined with life experience, resilience and self-identity.

Much depends on who is standing next to us on the road. I would like to express my deep gratitude to those who have been instrumental in my life over the years, both professionally and personally. To President Csányi Sándor Csányi Erika Csányi, for believing in me, to Uncle Miklós, who always knew exactly when to guide me with wise silence or firm words, and of course to my mentor Tamás Oláh, who supported me all the way and who could call me at any time, and who would immediately find a way to a solution. I will never forget the “lovingly rebuking” moments, which were always backed up by sincere constructive intentions.

At graduation, I had my little girl with me, who four years ago knew only that if the others clapped, she clapped, but now she felt something of what the day meant, looking at me with a schoolgirl’s pride in her eyes. That look means more than anything to me. My learning was not only a realisation, but also an example: that as women, as mothers, as human beings, we can be mothers, strong, persistent, resilient, dreamers and achievers.

It would not be a complete memory if I did not mention my best friend Kinga, with whom I owe my friendship to the Foundation, and with whom I have been following each other since kindergarten. The Foundation has become a second family to me, a community where words have weight, silence has depth, and where human presence makes everyday life valuable.

My degree is not just a piece of paper that will sit on top of my locker with my other diploma.  It is a symbol of perseverance, a desire for knowledge, emotional intelligence, self-identity, human relationships and professional commitment. It is another step towards using the knowledge I have acquired in a spirit of social responsibility and community values – because knowledge is not an end in itself, it is a means to make an impact on the world.

I am grateful to everyone who has shaped this story with me – my family, my teachers, my friends, my Foundation community. It is a shared success for which, as I said, I will always be grateful!
