Every November, the European Week for Waste Reduction is held, and this year, it took place from November 16 to 24. As part of this initiative, the members of the 3rd group in Kaposvár spent a week trying to live a waste-free lifestyle, thereby reducing the waste they produced. They were greatly assisted by the staff of the Waste Management Department of the Somogy County Government Office, who motivated the children to adopt a conscious lifestyle through a “Waste-Free Bingo” game and also held interesting presentations for them. The mentees created presentations on the tasks they had completed, which they then presented to the waste management experts. As a reward, they received useful and interesting books.
