“This year the chess team of the Csányi Foundation took on the invitation of the Polgár Judit Chess Foundation’s online chess competition for students. Our team finished as group winners after 7 rounds of various matches during the second qualifier rounds and qualified for the semi-final, where group matches will take place again from May. In the last round our team has lost against the German Schillerschule Gymnasium Hannover, but we have still taken the lead. All the matches started at 8 pm, but we have been preparing for them long before the beginning and with well-built tactics, we could reach this result. Gellért Karácsonyi was the main tactical genius in the team, we thank him for his advices and his wins.
