„Bonafarm” invited entries for a competition, called „My farm”. From the group 9 students wrote poems, tales and one of us made a board game. For our works, we got tickets to the Capital Circus of Budapest (1st March).
Sunday morning (1st March) we travelled to Budapest and there before the circus we visited the Vajdahunyad Castle, the Agricultural Museum and the City Park. In front of the circus we met the university-goers and we went in together. One of the best attractions was the shaving elephant, which shaved one of the spectators. On the other hand, there was another entertaining performance: dogs showed how smart they were. We also liked the „snake man”, who shaped himself into a quite little box. In the circus we sat with the students of the university-goers, and we watched together the actions of the most powerful man. He was so strong that a car drived through him, and he didn’t get hurt. He held it with his stomach muscles. Another performance, which Ádám and Benjamin showed, was also very amazing, they were hanging on a cane. It was very perilous. We had a very great time there! Junior mentors at the circus
We had a great opportunity to be helpers of our mentor, when the Jászság 1 came to circus. We were pleased to help the little ones in Budapest, so we went to circus together. On the other hand, it was also an enormous experience to us, because we haven’t been there since we were young. Mainly we helped with the coordination of the children, but hopefully they were also pleased to meet us. During these programs, we all felt that they were happy about meeting us, and they adored us. Certainly, it was a great experience for us, too because we could almost see, what the mentors do in their everyday life, when they are working. Hopefully, we will have other opportunities to help them. Thank you for this experience to the Csányi Foundation.
