On the 28th February, Saturday, before completing the language test, Alba Valejo Picado spanish volunteer, and traveller gave us a photographic presentation about her adventures before.
She started that travelling a few years ago, and she has already travelled trough the half of the Earth. She presentated her most memorable experieces for us, including New York, Palestina, India and Cuba. She have seen war, startvation, carnevals, and horrible fires too. She told us a very instructive story of a man, who have been shot int he Gazan zone, and fell into coma for two months, but after he recovered, he continued the protestation against unjust. When Alba came home from Palestina she got the news about the man: He fell into coma once again.
In India, she has been touched by the kindness of the people, whose are living in very poor circumstances. Her friends are travelling the world just like she does, by scholarships, and she is going to visit one of them the next week, in Slovenia. In September, she will visit Australia. We have all been touched by her presentation, and we would listened her stories more and more.
