Talent Selection 2025 – Szentes

In 2025, the Csányi Foundation announced an application for its talent development Life Path Program aimed at talented, disadvantaged children who are completing the 4th grade of primary school in the 2024/25 academic year. Through this program, a maximum of 15 children from Szentes, 15 from Pécs, and 15 from Nagybajom and its surrounding region can be selected.

Szentes – March 7–8

The first selection event of the year was held in Szentes by the Csányi Foundation. In line with the selection procedure, the process began with competency tests in mathematics and reading comprehension for the children. Meanwhile, their accompanying adults attended a presentation by supported university students from Szeged: Izabella Patyi (University of Szeged, majoring in drama and theater pedagogy; teacher of Hungarian language and literature) and Gábor Berta (University of Szeged, majoring in economic informatics). They shared their experiences within the Foundation and explained the structure of the program.

Afterward, Dr. Miklós Radoszáv spoke about the commitments families undertake upon entering the program. Drama-based activities, which are an integral part of the selection process, were held for both the children and the parents. In the afternoon, the children presented their portfolios, showcasing themselves with impressive and well-prepared introductions.

We are sincerely grateful to the developers, mentors, junior mentors, and volunteers whose efforts ensured the smooth running of the selection event. It was a special honor to welcome Gábor Marosi, a trustee of the Foundation, and Dr. Ágnes Kovács, a psychologist, whose support, presence, and valuable insights greatly contributed to the success of the day.

Thank you!
