Indoor track season started in Székesfehérvár.
For sportsmen the most important thing is the competition. If you take the challenge then you want to do your best, it can be crucial for your future. This year’s first competition on 24th January was quite promising, although success was expected after all the hard winter training. Despite the fact that I was injured at this ARAK competition for adults it didn’t show in my achievement. My goals for this year are longer sprint events, but 60 meters running which corresponds to outdoors 100 meters is important for me too. 66 adults entered this event. I won my heat and I beat my personal best. To my surprise got into finals where I could compete with brilliant sportsmen, and eventually with a steady peace I managed to finish in the sixth place. After the competition my coach congratulated me saying, “First competition of the year, excellent running, good time”. After this I’m going to have three training competitions before junior and adult championships.
