Advent Program at the Támasz Foundation Women’s Temporary Shelter and Night Refuge

“On December 6th, members of the Pécs 1 and Pécs 3 groups visited the Támasz Foundation Women’s Temporary Shelter and Night Refuge to bring joy to the residents with a heartfelt Advent program and a small food donation. The performances featured poems about faith and hope.

We believe it is important not only during this season but throughout the year to pay attention to one another and make volunteer help a natural part of our lives. After the program, the ladies at the shelter treated us to homemade cakes, syrup, and chocolate Santas. While enjoying the many delicious treats, we had meaningful conversations.

We all experienced that giving is just as uplifting as receiving. We are determined to continue this tradition.”
