At the Csányi Foundation’s Community House in Jászberény, meaningful and dedicated work is being carried out. It is important for the wider city to be informed about the environmental and nature-related activities taking place here, which are also closely tied to environmental protection programs.
This awareness is supported by the fact that in 2024—for the first time—the City Management Department of the Jászberény Mayor’s Office requested a written report on the environmental and nature conservation activities, programs, competitions, projects, and excursions conducted at the Community House during 2023. The request was repeated in 2025, and just like the previous year, we provided a detailed report—this time on the activities of 2024.
Naturally, other institutions in the city (such as schools and kindergartens) also submitted written reports on their related activities. These were reviewed and approved during the open session of the City Management Committee held on March 13, 2025.
Subsequently, during the regular open municipal assembly on March 19, 2025, the head of the City Management Department reported on the proportional implementation of the Environmental Protection Program for the year 2024.
By bringing this report to the municipal level, the work carried out at the Community House is becoming increasingly recognized and appreciated throughout the city.
