“Ready, steady, drive!”

On 19th May, I gave a presentation in the framework of the “Ready, Set, Drive” scholarship at the Pécs Community House, which was a condition for winning the scholarship. The presentation was about electric and hybrid cars. Nowadays, knowledge of key words such as technology, innovation and environmental protection is very important. For example, they may appear in various language exams and school-leaving exams, but few of us can tick them off in our everyday lives. That is why I chose the topic of green cars as the subject of my presentation and focused on a company that, with research published every year, demonstrates its innovative ideas and its decisive presence in environmental efforts. We not only distinguished between hybrid and pure electric cars, discussed their advantages and disadvantages, but also explored the challenges and opportunities of today’s Hungarian transport society. We concluded the presentation by answering questions posed by the students. Many thanks to the Csányi Foundation for their support in helping me obtain my driving licence!
