The World in Mirror

The youngest students from Nagybajom visited an exhibition about human nature and sustainable development on Thursday (29. May).

The exhibition is a sort of adventure where we can experience a number of things that make us think. The crucial question is what human beings really need and what kind of impact people have on our environment. The exhibition consisted of 10 rooms having different names including surviving, knowledge, choice, relaxing, identity, safety, love. Each room gave surprises and wonderful experience. Students had the opportunity to count their ecological footprint and calculate the distance from which their food is delivered to them. The colourful installations helped creating an environmentally conscious lifestyle.

The children have also identified after the guided conversation what they liked and what feelings and thoughts they take home:

Balogh Nóra: The use of recycled objects were very impressive. They were comfortable and beautiful as well.

Kővári Vanessza : I am  interested in reading about life, the days of other children in different countries.

Bánfi Dávid: It was a great experience to learn about different cultures and customs.
