“Science for a Sustainable Environment”

On April 12, 2024, I participated in the competition titled “Science for a Sustainable Environment” organized by the University of Szeged, representing Lehel Vezér High School, motivated by my biology teacher, András Rigó. There were several topics to choose from, and I selected “Teflon Derivatives and Microplastics in Our Waters,” which will later help expand our water testing project. I completed the theoretical and practical parts of my paper at the Csányi Foundation with the assistance of volunteer developer Terézia Csörgő. The work carried out in the multi-year Zagyva Water Testing project, supported by Dr. Katalin Karikó, also contributed to my achieving first place in the competition. I was very happy with the result!

A big thank you to Ms. Csörgő for her preparation!

Nóra Pintér, Jászság Group 3

Congratulations to Nóra and our volunteer Terézia Csörgő, and thank you, Ms. Csörgő, for your unwavering support!
