In the first half of our special day on Thursday afternoon the mayors, institute leaders, businessmen of the region Jászság gathered in the Community House, in order to gain insight in the work and the everyday life of the Foundation through the presentation of dr. Miklós Radoszáv, who is the operating director of our Foundation, and through the performance of the students.
Vivien Cserna (12th class student) talked about her experience in the Foundation to the audience. Attila Szölösi declaimed, Dávid Vig was folk dancing, and last but not least the guests could enjoy Arany János’ The moustache on stage presented by our groups. It was awarded with a huge clap by the audience. After that, the children and the parents invited the guests to eat from the food they made brought for this occasion.
Late in the afternoon we continued our talent day. Mr. Miklós greeted the parents, members of the family and the students entertained them with special performances such as music, dance, poem and juggling. The fathers also joined the show; they played the guitar and violin together with their children. Then the group gave a presentation with a slide show about their experience in the summer camps. After the performances the guests enjoyed the home-made cakes, sandwiches and cold-buffets with pleasure. It was late in the evening when the last families left.
On this day parents, children and volunteers were together. Hereby we would like to express how thankful we are for all their support and help, especially to Mrs Fülöp Paksi Katalin, who contributed again to the success of our program with her dedicated work and loving-kindness.
