The first Saturday of March was set aside by the parents for refurbishing the garden furniture at the Community House. Although the chilly, foggy morning seemed a bit daunting at first, the day turned out beautifully sunny. While the parents worked outside sanding and painting, a drama session took place indoors, where we practiced concentration through various games and activities.
As part of our ongoing culinary journey, we once again prepared lunch ourselves and hosted the hardworking moms and one dad. The afternoon continued with reading comprehension exercises, and finally, we prepared for our national holiday by making kokárda (traditional rosettes).
It was a meaningful and joyful day spent together—and the garden furniture is now refreshed and ready for use.
