Today we visited the Szent Ferenc United Social Institution in Jászberény, where we presented our Advent dance to the residents of the home. Everyone was very enthusiastic and had a good time. It was a really good feeling to see the elderly people happy and smiling from the bottom of their hearts. There were also very touching moments. I think that the others and I have just experienced what it’s like to provide a good feeling, a good experience for others. We are very grateful for this opportunity to go. With Christmas approaching, we again visited the Home for the Elderly in our town, where we tried to bring a little festive atmosphere to their homes. We surprised the older age group with our dance performed on our foundation’s Advent day, and I saw with a big smile on my face that someone joined our little movement. The many smiles I saw then and there filled me with a good feeling. Outside of the show, we brought them handmade gifts, such as felt angels and pictures. In addition, our Santa Claus (Pege Angi) surprised the elderly with candy. For me, it was already a huge gift that they applauded and welcomed us with joy, but we also received handmade candlesticks, for which we are very grateful.
