After a long and busy week, we were happy to meet Yina from Singapore volunteer of the Community House of Pécs, who made the 6th lesson on a Friday afternoon (18. October) more exciting in ANK Secondary Grammar School
Yina had a presentation about her city, its culture, the operation of the schools there and about the beautiful modern hotels, parks and universities. We learned many new things about Singapore, for example that Chines, Malay and Indian people live next to each other in peace and harmony. They accept each other, the others’ culture and religion. The presentation was in English, which I liked it very much; furthermore, Yina was very friendly and open to talk with us after the presentation.
