Fun afternoon in Kaposvár

Loud chatter and a cheerful atmosphere filled the Kaposvár Community House on Friday afternoon, where the members of the Kaposvár Group 1 gathered to celebrate the Halloween and All Saints’ season together. For the group, this has already become a true tradition: every autumn break they spend a fun, activity-filled afternoon together.

The event naturally started with pumpkin carving – thanks to the skillful hands and great enthusiasm, more and more glowing, smiling (or rather scary) pumpkins decorated the garden. After that came dinner, followed by an All Souls’ Day quiz where the children could test their knowledge of the customs and traditions of this festive period in a playful way.

However, the highlight of the day was undoubtedly the nighttime candy hunt! By the light of candles, the youngsters excitedly searched for the well-hidden sweets in the dark yard – while the junior mentors provided a spooky atmosphere with ghostly scares. Laughter and shrieks could be heard from far away as the brave candy hunters faced the “spirits” of the night.

Of course, costumes also played a major role: among us appeared a vampire, a robber, an Arab sheikh, a witch, and even a dead bride. The mood was further enhanced by plenty of treats – Lilla Király surprised the group with five kinds of Halloween-themed pastries, which were a huge success and enjoyed by everyone.

The shared laughter, the shimmering candlelight, and the many creative costumes once again proved that Kaposvár Group 1 not only knows how to have fun, but is also a real little community where tradition and joy go hand in hand.
