Dyed eggs and chocolate egg.
The 2nd of April, the first day of spring holiday waited with many colourful programmes the children in the Foundation’s Community House in Szeged. The elder students started with self-knowledge lesson, while the younger ones started the day with Easter arts and crafts lesson. The elevenses brought the traditions of Easter with ham and hard boiled eggs, and just for consumption but for colouring as well. The children could choose from many different egg dye techniques.
As the weather was nice, gardening was also part of the daily programmes. Many nice spring flowers were planted in the garden and for the first time, fruit bushes were placed in the backyard this time. We really hope that we can taste them in the near future.
After the garden work we had delicious lunch, and after it – for the greatest surprise of the children – a giant egg waited everyone in the yard of the Community House from the Fouder of the Csányi Foundation. It did not take much time to check the inside of the box and eat up all the pieces of chocolate. After the programme filled day, the children could return home with dyed eggs, chocolate eggs and with good tiredness after a little work and a lot of football.
