First Parental meeting in Szeged

“Yesterday was wonderful because we were invited to Szeged by the Csányi Foundation for a parent-child meeting organized for us. I think everyone was looking forward to this day as much as I was.

I was very curious to see who else had been accepted. Fortunately, I saw many familiar faces. After a quick slideshow, the parents and István, our group’s mentor, got down to the paperwork. We didn’t have to stay inside for this, so we kids went out to the yard to play and get to know each other. The time passed very quickly and happily. So much so that we realized it was time to go home.

I didn’t want to leave my new friends, but I know we will meet soon at the freshman camp. Before heading home, we got to watch the video and photos taken of us again, accompanied by delicious snacks. My favorite was the pizza, though I think everyone felt the same. I am really looking forward to the experiences we will have in the future.”
