Just like everywhere else we also stared the spring academic competitions in Kaposvár. These competitions are held on different levels. We participated in school, town, county and in country competitions as well. Almost everyone from my group took part in one of the competitions and had nice results.
Ábel Balla won at the Zrínyi mathematics county round which meant he was the one who represents Somogy county at the national round in his age group. He did really fine as he came 23th. This triumph is not the end of Bence’s success as he was competing in Marcali at the weekend, the results are not known yet.
Viki Tar did her best in the field of music. The county qualifying music round was organised in Fonyód where she got golden medal for her performance. Her next competition will be in the middle of the month where the sound of clarinet will please the ears of the audience and jury. The older members were active as well. They are preparing for their school leaving examinations and the university students for their year-end exams.
One important milestone in the life of the Community House is the successful advanced English language exam done by Valentin György-Dávid as he started learning English at the Foundation. This was the reward for long and persistent learning.
We hope for nice results in the future. I wish all the members of the group strength, patience and support.
