On the 15th November (Saturday) Nagybajom 3 group played the main role in the Community House. We got together because of the competition announced by the Csányi Foundation supported by the BONAFARM Group. We started our day with brain storming where kids got the chance to talk about their future plans. They were really talkative and it was good to see how different plans they have.
Being one of the oldest students in the Foundation studying Rural Development Engineering, I helped the job of the kids. I gave them a presentation about the state of agriculture, I introduced the crop-production and the stock-raising sector, introduced myself, talked about my studies, dreams and future plans and of course about the years I have spent in the Csányi Foundation. I gave them a short task with different questions and they have two weeks to answer them and write a short composition about them.
At last, we sowed some of the seeds of different plants. During the next few weeks we will see how they grow and the ways of changes. I feel they could learn a lot about agriculture as an important sector. I hope they will be able to use things they learned today due to my tips and pieces of advices.
For me it is a great feeling to help the job of the kids as a junior-mentor. It was great to be in the Community House of Nagybajom again. It was great Saturday morning together. I would like to say thank for this opportunity!
