At the Lehel Vezér Secondary Grammar School’s school leaving ceremony, the headmaster gives the Pap Award each year.
This award is given to one member of each class, who is selected by the members of the class. Dr. Géza Pap, our school’s students, who graduated in 1960 and his brothers founded an award in memoriam of their parents, Dr. János Pap and Dr. Jánosné Pap. This award is given to such students who are worthy enough; according to their moral values and their behaviour. Each class chooses the “Student of the Year”. This year I was the student of the year from class 8.N. I could stand there between the other awarded students.
