On the first day of the spring break (March 28), Hungary’s leading agricultural company provided an opportunity for the Szeged 2 group to visit its center in Nádudvar. This visit offered a unique opportunity for high school students to learn about the technical, technological, and market developments in the region’s economy.
Following a warm welcome from CEO Levente Szabó, we gained insight into the operations, structure, and outstanding role of KITE Zrt in agricultural innovation.
Next, we toured the central machinery fleet, where everything from state-of-the-art soil cultivation equipment to the latest combines can be found, meeting the needs of farmers focusing on agricultural innovation.
Everyone was impressed by the logistics center with its lift-based storage system, high-lift forklifts, and storage capacity.
We then received information about the operation of agricultural drones, combined with a spectacular drone flight demonstration.
Those considering their career paths gained insights into highly interesting fields, and we acquired knowledge that can be well integrated into the existing and planned sustainable economic projects of the Szeged Community Center.
After a shared lunch with the professional leaders, our journey took us to Hortobágy, where, in addition to visiting the Nine-Arch Bridge, mentor Anna Benczúr introduced us to the history of Hortobágy, accompanied by exploring local attractions.
