Several surprises awaited me as I arrived home from the United States, where I have spent my previous academic year thanks to the scholarship program of FLEX. The dearest one was receiving the title of Ambassador of the Csányi Foundation. Upon receiving the award, dr. Miklós Radoszáv (COO of the Foundation) let me know, that my peers in the Children’s Parliament were the ones, who came up with this title, which made it more special and honorable for me. The note attached to it says I received it for my successes in snowboarding, for winning the ‘Good Student, Good Athlete’ award and for my years of study in the USA. I can’t say I wasn’t surprised, because in my mind I’m just doing everything it takes to reach my goals and make my childhood dream come true.
I am truly grateful for this award and title, and I will try my best to honor it. Looking at this prize makes me proud, and it encourages me to go further towards reaching my goals.
