International Traffic Safety (“Ready, Set, Drive!”)

Today I held my presentation within the framework of the “Ready, Set, Drive!” competition. The theme of my presentation placed a greater emphasis on the changes involved in obtaining a driver’s license and proper driving behavior. I tried not only to bring local examples but also to enrich the young people’s knowledge with interesting facts from distant countries around the world. At the end of the presentation, I prepared a quiz game on the subject of traffic rules. I aimed to process real-life problems and surprise those present with a few lesser-known facts. I closed the session with an account of my own experiences, where I told funny, interesting, and a few negative events that have happened to me. Additionally, the young people asked me questions, which I answered together with my mentor, thus demonstrating the difference between the thought process and experiences of an experienced driver and a learner. Thank you for the opportunity provided by the Foundation!
