Santa Claus Cinema in Szentes

This Wednesday afternoon was not spent on lessons; instead, we accepted a kind invitation. The Szentes Family Assistance Center – and professional leader Gyöngyi László – offered this opportunity to us.

About 140 disadvantaged children were treated to a cinema experience. We were able to participate in the charity cinema afternoon with 20 people from our Community House. Cinema manager Krisztián Szabó and municipal representative Anette Pohl greeted the participants, and then the real cinema experience could begin with soft drinks and popcorn.

For many of the participants, the screening of Lilo & Stitch was the first cinema visit of their lives. They watched the film with huge joy and shining eyes. The afternoon was made complete by the gift packages from the Szentes Family Assistance Center. Thank you for the opportunity!
