Researchers’ Night in Szeged

On September 24, 2025, the Szeged groups participated in the Researchers’ Night event series at the University of Szeged. During the joint program of the three groups, we gained insight into physics experiments, as well as the fields of geography and archaeology.

On Friday, we gathered at the Community House, where we formed groups from the two high school groups and the younger students of Szeged Group 1. Together, we set off to the first venue of the event at the SZTE TTIK Department of Physics, where Ferenc Ignácz, master teacher, presented some of the most exciting experiments from the Fizishow.

After the physics demonstrations, we visited the Faculty of Humanities at SZTE with our pre-arranged groups to explore the stations presented by geography and humanities students. Throughout the evening, everyone could find a program that matched their interests, whether in the natural sciences or in the humanities.
