The fifth Volleyball Tournament for girls was held in Kecskemét on the 9th of January. The tournament was organized by the Arany János Program. I could be there with the team of Klebersberg Kuno College from Kaposvár.
There were nine teams in Kecskemét. There were three teams in the last round: one from Eger, one from Kecskemét and my team from Kaposvár. Unfortunately we could win only against the team from Kecskemét, so this time we finished second, but for me this day was a special one. The best player of the tournament is elected every year and this year I could be the one who got the long-awaited trophy. It was one of the greatest moments of my life. I was really happy to get this special prize!
The semifinals of the National Volleyball Championships for girls were held in Budapest this year. There were four teams in the last round before the final. We won our first match with the team of Táncsics Mihály Secondary School from Kaposvár and we needed to win only one more. We had to play against the host team, but we won again and could successfully finish the day. The final will be held in Dunaújváros at the beginning of February.
