I took part in the Kosáry Domonkos History Competition, it’s semi-final took place in the Budai Ciszterci Szent Imre Gimnasium. Before the competition, we had to make a presentation about a historcal person’s decision using only the given sources and our knowledge. The next task was about analysing the historical era and persons.They scored very strictly, noticing the presentation’s prettiness, the objectivity of our storytelling and the elements used from the sources. After a short synopsis, when the names of the qualified candidates were published and my name was on the board, I was over the moon. On the next day there were oral tasks awaiting us with two quizes called „creative tasks”. Improvisation and an other presentation were held, and beside these tasks, we had to tell a story while imitating a given historical person. Finally, the announcement of results showed that this was a very close ranking, depended on half points, and in this tight race to the podium, I placed 7. Márton Gelencsér NB3
