It has several advantages that the Foundation’s university students have a close community in Budapest as we support each other in many ways.
This Friday offered us a phantastic chance to visit the programmes of Obuda University, where I am studying. In the frame of the Researchers’ Night programme I could see the backstage of electrical engineering and computer science. It was amazing to observe and try the latest electronic inventions. I also got a T-shirt from my university which I am very proud of.
Next day I also visited the Historic Museum in Budapest, offering a free entry as it was the last Saturday of the month. Among many other things I not only gained information about the history of Budapest from the prehistoric age, but also got to know the medieval Royal Palace of the Buda castle.
This weekend was awesome; I enjoyed every bits of it. Without the support and care of the Foundation I haven’t been able to experience all these wonders of the capital city. I am more than thankful to the Foundation standing by me and encouraging me. I hope to give it all back one day.
