Chinese delicacies

Probably because we were close after lunch time, today (22nd January) we discussed the culinary delights of Chinese cuisine with Juile.

We could learn about the traditional Chinese and Taiwanese dishes and sweets. We were surprised to learn that brown rice is not wide-spread in China. During the lesson we heard about much other useful information about China and Taiwan and the real ice-breaker was writing. Julie wrote everyone’s name in Chinese symbols on the board and in return, we wrote her name in Old Hungarian script. There were many questions and answers during the lesson and, of course, films, actors and actresses gave us good soil for another discussion. After the lesson Julie sat into the car with the mentor and helped to take the kids home.
Thank you very much for this vivid lesson!
