Saturday with Julie

Saturday morning (8 February), we – members of groups from Jászság – introduced ourselves to Julie, from grade 6 to university students.

Everyone asked curiously questions from Julie not just giving the chance to practice English but also learning about the cultural differences in China.

In the Jász Museum we tried to show as much from the history of jász people as we could to Julie. We told Julie the legend of Lehel’s horn and we showed her the traditional folk clothes of the people from the area, all in English. In the afternoon, she introduced us her country and the curiosity of China. The most popular programme was learning Chinese writing. We wrote not only words but our names as well. Close to the end of the day everyone was braver and braver to speak in English.
