Jászok

On the 7th of June, group 1 and 3 of the Jászság watched a historical, song and dance play, called Jászok.

“The play integrates different perspectives of dance, music, poetry and visual arts in order to expose universal human values through which not only people of Jászság but nobody would exist.”
Mihályi Gábor, rendező

In this fantastic play the harmony of folk dance, contemporary dance, opera, classical music and folk music melted together forming one piece of great art. With recalling the history of the Jász people on high artistic level it strengthen the self-awareness, which accompanies the lifecycle of the Jász people from the beginning till the Hungarian Kingdom. Then further down on the way of memories and spiritual fantasy, which leads us to their present day life. The hero and heroine of the play is a present day couple whose earlier lives came alive through the play. This microcosm gets bigger and bigger and overlaps the history of the Jász people and depicts the events of their past in each scene. We recommend watching this play to everyone to get a full-in-depth insight in the past and present of the Jász people.
