Three groups of the Foundation, Kaposvár 1 and 2 and Nagybajom 1, are taking part in a very exciting international project.The connection came through the internet, through eTwinning. The partner countries of the project are Poland, the Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Hungary. The task was to collect everything of the year 2016: pictures of the students, pictures of our town, newspaper clippings of important events of the year, top hits of the year, both local and foreign. The students also had to write their predictions for the next ten years, and a letter to themselves for ten years from now. Naturally everything has to happen in English, as that is the common language of the project. Once everything was together, we had to put it all in a time capsule. The administrator of the project drew lots with his students to decide about where the partners have to send their time capsule. This way we paired up with a school in Poland. We will have to send our time capsule to them and they will send theirs to us. When it gets here we will open it, read everything, on TwinSpace, our common internet surface, post everything we learn about Poland and this school in Poland and the students. The Polish students are going to do the same to our time capsule. In May, we are going to put everything back in the Polish time capsule and we are going to bury it with a ceremony and we are going to keep it for ten years. Opening year of the time capsule is 2026.
