Similar to last year, members of Szeged Group 1 interested in fishing participated again this year in the Csongrád-Csanád County fishing competition organized by the Hermann Ottó Fishing Association’s Children and Youth Fishing Workshop at the Fehérparti-Szilvás water area near Szeged.
This year, we entered two three-member teams under the names “Csányis hohók 1-2” in the U12 category, with high school students from Szeged Group 2 assisting the younger participants with fishing.
Unfortunately, the weather did not favor us this year either. The cold front affected the fish’s feeding behavior, and as a result, we were unable to catch any fish during the competition. However, through individual draws, we received several tools useful for fishing.
We would like to express our gratitude to the organizers, the Hermann Ottó Fishing Association and Szabolcs Jéger, for giving us the opportunity to participate in the competition!
