Fanni Nagy – How Did It Happen? My Path to a Career in Applied Arts | First Solo Exhibition
On October 15, we opened the first solo exhibition of contemporary jewelry designer and applied artist Fanni Nagy at the Déryné 6 Gallery in the Jászsági Community House. At the opening, Dr. Miklós Radoszáv, operational director of the Csányi Foundation, welcomed the artist and the guests, followed by a professional opening speech by Edit Farkas, director of the Hamza Collection and Jász Gallery. The event concluded with a beautiful song by Andrea Kalla. The many curious visitors, including friends, family, and art lovers, enjoyed admiring the stunning creations and engaging in conversations with Fanni, who gladly shared her thoughts with those interested.
Fanni Nagy, a contemporary jewelry designer and applied artist living in Jászberény, is thrilled to present her first solo exhibition, inviting visitors on a unique journey. The exhibit showcases a rich selection of study drawings, paintings, and jewelry created over the years, allowing us to follow Fanni’s artistic development from her early steps to her most recent works. The exhibition not only presents Fanni’s physical creations but also illustrates the evolution of her thought process. The experiences gained at high school art competitions, the broadened perspectives from her university education, and participation in various exhibitions have all contributed to her artistic growth and paved the way for her career in applied arts. The exhibit offers visitors a glimpse into the world of applied arts and reveals how Fanni’s personal and professional growth shaped the jewelry she envisioned.
