Bye bye Hungary….

After six weeks, my journey through Hungary is coming to an end.

When I left Brazil I didn’t know what to expect, in my mind it would be a big challenge and an adventure, but it turned out to be much more than that. The foundation has been my home and the mentors and kids have been my family. During this time, I got to learn so much about the things we are alike and not only the things that make us different. I fell in love with Hungarian the language, the culture and the history that at first seemed so far from mine and so hard to understand, but I today I can say that nothing else is relevant when you speak with your heart. Every human being can understand the meaning of a hug, a smile or a kind gesture. I’m really thankful for having the opportunity to come here, both Nagybajom and Kaposvar were lovely places to live, it’s a pity time flied and I have to leave so soon. I’m already missing everyone, I will never forget all the wonderful moments I had at the Csányi Foundation in Hungary and I can tell that today that I consider myself not only Brazilian but also a little Hungarian.
