The popular Helikon festival is organised every two years and it virtually sets everyone on fire in the Trans-Danubian region.
Teachers and students are both excited to participate and to show what they can do, representing their school or town. This year we had the honour of representing our school in the pop music category as the drama class 10C. Our performance wasn’t the usual musical band performance but we played on a unique instrument called Boomwhackers. It looks simple with coloured pipes for playing different sounds and accords. After many hard practice sessions our performance was born to which two exotic instruments joined an ukele and a cajon. It quickly It was received with a loud applause, and we were awarded with a gold rating.
