Student Parliament meeting

The student parliament of our Foundation held its first session in Mohács on 22nd and 23rd of September. We were welcomed warmly in beautiful surroundings and our hosts made sure that we felt as comfortable as possible. Hence delegates had no other duty than discussing the main items on the agenda. The first day we were talking for hours about our previous experiences in connection with the various contest opportunities. We have had plenty of new topics to raise the attention of our peers and encourage their participation. We had so much to say that we could barely finish for the day. On Saturday morning we shared our thoughts on the portfolio evaluation. Time went by so quickly that we couldn’t discuss the Summer Fête in detail, but we all agreed to come up with something new this time. Working in small groups, we put down our ideas then we shared them with one another in the form of an open discussion. We hope that our new ideas and suggestions will be welcomed by everyone. After lunch we decided to take a photo by the bank of the Danube. Unfortunately we had to leave right after. We agreed that our recent propositions would be touched upon again in January. Then we would have the time to elaborate on the programme proposals for the Summer Fête as well.
