Gaudeamus igitur…..

The streets of Pécs were loud with the songs of the graduates’ songs as the 8 members of the P1 group sang the songs of farewell with their classmates amidst the bouquets and relatives and the encouragement from all sides.

I’ve heard it countless times from them just how much they wanted secondary school to end and their university lives to begin but as the time for the exams was approaching not all of them could hide their worries as this challenge is important to them at the brink of adulthood.

Although I was given this half a dozen “little Indians” 2 years ago and have been their mentor since, they grew on me. The beginning wasn’t easy. We had our differences. But now it feels as if I was losing my own “children”… they’ve become adults

Two of their mates who will face these challenges in the coming 2 years are cheering for them for good marks and successful university enrollments. Forza P1!
