The second group of Jászság’s parent-mentor meeting was organized on the 24th of February.
I was glad when our mentor, Eszter told us I was able to travel with my son by the „Csányi” minibus, so I did not have to pay for the traveling fees, which would have been a huge amount for me. After our arrival, the children enjoyed their meal while we were signing the documents, which are necessary for opening a current account. We were able to look into the english and german lessons, as well. It was a gorgeous experience to see the high quality of the lessons our children are participating in. Then the session for parents started. We have been informed by Eszter that the students’ results of the first semester was more than impressing. 17 of them were able to recieve the scholarship and many of them had a great success during contests.
We also realized that the students are having a great time during lessons. It is helpful for us that my child takes part in this program as I would not have been able to support the education of my son. I am divorced, so I have to grow my child alone.
During the session, we have been informed all the incoming programs our children are attending: Football championship, chess championship, day Életút in Kaposvár, the camp of Sarlóspuszta and the swimming camp. Eszter has been helpful, should anyone have a problem, she will always be here to help. Personally, I have experienced that the parents are making a great team, and I hope it will not change.
We will do whatever we can, as well.
