Wooden spoon, straw, music

Gábor Kovács, musician, musical instrument maker had a presentation in the cultural center of Böhönye on Saturday afternoon(18 October).

The performance started with folk songs, rhymes, riddles and a lot of instrumental music. Then the long awaited instruments appeared. Firstly, everybody was surprised when Gábor took out a wooden spoon and a tin box. Everyone surprised at the interesting musical voices it produced. Then came the rest nicely in a row: bicycle pump, which made a very funny noice, a straw and a plastic bottle. We were really amazed at these cheap instruments and we wished to prepare them at home as well. After the presentation, together with the help of Mr. Kovács some instruments were also been prepared.  We named the first one as “straw trumpet”. On the way home we entertained our mentor, Patrik Biró with the voice of our instruments.
